Lassonde Marine

In business since 2013, Lassonde Marine Inc. offers turnkey services for both recreational and commercial boats. Founded by Mathieu Lassonde, the company has built a strong reputation in the marine industry.

Mathieu has over 22 years of experience in marine mechanics. After studying small engine mechanics, he was offered a job at an Evinrude dealership in 2001, where he developed his expertise in mobile mechanics and in the maintenance and repair of both recreational and commercial boats. In 2013, he launched his own mobile mechanics business, Lassonde Marine Mobile, now Lassonde Marine Inc. He quickly built a diverse client base of private boat owners, as well as commercial clients — servicing and repairing boats for companies working on the repair of the Champlain Bridge and the construction of the new Champlain Bridge, and later for the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge.

In February 2016, Lassonde Marine Inc. acquired its first place of business in Beauharnois and became an Evinrude dealer. That’s when Annie joined the team full-time.

More than five years ago now, Lassonde Marine Inc. acquired a new mechanical shop at 457 chemin Saint-Louis, Saint-Étienne-de-Beauharnois, where all of the company’s operations take place today.

More recently, Lassonde Marine Inc. proudly became a Yamaha and Suzuki dealer, in addition to Evinrude.
