Kizos planches à pagaie was founded by Mélodie Bédard, an Abenaki Indigenous entrepreneur. This company, which sells inflatable paddleboards, was born from a passion for water and a love of nature. The designs and colors chosen for the boards are meant to harmonize with nature and to showcase aspects of Indigenous culture, particularly that of the W8banaki Nation. Each paddleboard bears an Abenaki name representing its individual design.
